Create a checklist mirroring the rubric; every section of your essay should “earn” marks against it.
不要一上来就海量下载 PDF。围绕研究问题列 3–5 个 sub-questions：
What theoretical lens explains X?
What does the evidence say about Y?
Where do scholars disagree? 为什么？

Rebuttal（我如何回应）
A good argument map prevents paragraph drift and helps you reach depth, not description.
Introduction（10%）：问题背景→研究缺口→核心论点（thesis）→结构预告。
Body（75–80%）：按主题分段，每段以 Point–Evidence–Analysis–Link 展开；至少一次 counter-argument。
Conclusion（10–15%）：回答“So what?”，回扣论点与贡献，提出局限与后续研究方向。
开头句 = mini-thesis（本段命题句）。
引证后要 explain：这条证据如何支持你的论点？
使用 signposting：however, moreover, in contrast, consequently…
避免 citation dump（一段堆5个引用却无分析）。
遵循院系指定体例（Harvard/APA/MLA/Chicago），保持 in-text 与参考文献一致。

句式长短结合，避免 overuse of “very”/“really”。
